Hi! I'm Olivia Umoren, CEO & Founder of LIV Consulting & Career Services. I am a Nigerian-American born and raised in Boston, MA and currently reside in the DMV. I launched my business in June 2021 after observing a major need of career support and guidance among public health students and graduates. Many of my former classmates shared common sentiments of their undergraduate and graduate programs not preparing them for the competitive workforce post-graduation.

With over a decade of health care experience, I wanted to share my knowledge with others and support their career journey in a comprehensive and personalized way. My background in health is broad and includes supporting Alzheimer's Disease research at Mass General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and managing federal maternal health policy efforts at the Association of Maternal & Child Health Programs. I also spent 5 years as an outreach coordinator and enhanced career readiness for students in Boston Public Schools.

I am a health policy professional and currently work as a Director of Public Policy for a nonprofit organization in DC directing our congressional, legislative, and regulatory efforts for aging policy. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Penn State and my Master of Public Health from George Washington University. I am also a Board Member for the Society of Health Policy Young Professionals and Penn State's Nutrition and Dietetics Alumni Society.
